Editorial Policy

Principles

Three principles cover almost every editorial decision on this site. First, honesty over enthusiasm: a bonus that has a wagering requirement of seventy times is not a good bonus, and no amount of copywriting will make it one, so we do not try. Second, specificity over generality: readers come here for the exact number, not for a range or a hedge, so we quote the exact number or we omit the sentence. Third, the reader's interest over the affiliate's: if a page recommends an action that would be bad for the reader but good for our commission, that page is broken and we rewrite it.

Fact-checking

Every specific claim — a bonus amount, a percentage, a withdrawal window, a licence number, an app version — is checked against a primary source before it appears on the site. Primary sources are the operator's own live pages, the Gambling Commission register at gamblingcommission.gov.uk, and, for app details, the entries on the App Store and Google Play. If a claim cannot be verified from a primary source, it is omitted; we do not carry secondary hearsay from other affiliate sites.

Complaints about content

If you believe a page here is factually wrong, misleading, or breaches a UK advertising rule, please write to the editorial email and put COMPLAINT at the start of the subject line. Complaints are acknowledged within two working days and resolved within ten. If the complaint is upheld, the page is corrected and a dated correction note is added. If it is not upheld, we send you the reasoning and, if you disagree, you are free to escalate to the relevant regulator — the routes for that are listed on our Dispute Resolution page.
